075. Best Apps for EntHERpreneurs in 2017
Technology has made it easier for entrepreneurs to accomplish routine tasks, manage time more efficiently and keep track of responsibilities in a more orderly fashion. Being an entHERpreneur is not an easy job. Managing the product, the team and everything around it takes not only a lot of time but also creativity.
Here is a list of my favorite apps and some recommendations from my colleagues:
CashFlow Manager
The CashFlow Manager is an online cash flow management system which records, organizes and stores all of your business and personal financial transactions. The system was developed to simplify tracking your income and tax deductible business expenses so you can minimize your taxes and save time. Some key features are 256 bit encryption and physical security banks use to protect your data, it tracks income and expenses for business and home, it captures and stores receipts online, has pre-set and customizable income and expense categories, it tracks multiple businesses in one account and has recurring entry feature to minimize work
Canva
Canva is a tool loaded with enough easy-to-use features and functionality that anyone can create a variety of engaging content that gets shared. You can easily create beautiful designs and documents such as presentations, social media graphics, book covers and so much more. Use Canva's drag-and-drop feature and professional layouts to design consistently stunning graphics.
Facebook Ads Manager
Do you have a Facebook business page? Have you been advertising on Facebook? If no, why not? Facebook took another step for advertisers to manage their accounts anywhere by developing Facebook Ads Manager. With Facebook’s Ads Manager app you can pause and resume campaigns, budgets and schedules, view insights, and respond to alerts. Also, you can easily track all ad performance, create ads and edit existing ones, receive push notifications etc.
LISTEN
Another productivity app to consider is LISTEN. LISTEN's innovative app utilizes ringback tone technology to respond to incoming calls when you’re too busy to answer the phone. Its latest release features auto SMS reply capabilities which, when enabled, respond to both inbound calls and incoming text messages. You can also customize both your voice and SMS responses, sync your auto replies with your meetings with the calendar integration function and Location Detection, which responds to calls and text messages based on your geographic location. If that’s not awesome enough LISTEN also has a “drive mode,” which will play a status message informing callers (and texters) when you’re behind the wheel.
Dashlane Password Manager
Never forget another password with Dashlane, Dashlane organizes and keeps track of all your passwords in one secure place. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Periscope, Thinkific, and Gmail... - these are just a few places where I have accounts, both personal and business. I cannot imagine how I would remember all those passwords, especially when, in certain services, you have to change them once in a while. For this reason I am so thankful for Dashlane to protecting them and not making me remember all those combinations.
KillsNewsFeed
KillsNewsFeed does just that, it saves you time by disabling your Facebook news feed and replacing it with a message reminding you not to get distracted. That's it. You can still check your messages and notifications, post status updates, and do everything you could do before. You just won't get distracting news feed posts anymore. That means no more wasting time on Facebook. No more getting distracted when you log on to send a message. It's that simple.
Workflow
Time management is yet another key part to building and running a successful business. Managing workflow is the foundation of utilizing time effectively. With the Workflow app, you’re able to customize your phone so you can bypass tasks that are a waste of time. For example, you can call an Uber in advance of your next calendar event or create a button to give your mom a quick call. Workflow allows you to create any type of button for any type of activity that you may do on a regular basis and with the simple click of that button your task is being completed.
Humin
Networking is an integral path of entrepreneurship. The more your connections, the bigger your business. As my business coach likes to say, “Your net worth is only as strong as your network.” But isn’t it embarrassing to forget someone’s name after meeting them just yesterday? Humin takes care of that for you. By helping you remember the little details about each and every contact you have, it makes it a lot easier for you to build as many connections as you please.
Zirtual
Zirtual is your very own personal assistant in cyberspace. Confused? Zirtual offers small businesses a personal assistant to run around doing time consuming chores in the form of a virtual assistant. You can delegate non-productive tasks like filing invoices, chasing clients for payments, scheduling meetings into your calendar, making travel bookings, finding contact information for a potential client and so much more. With all your time-sinks out of the way, you now have all the time in the world to focus on more important business matters
